Job Description
This is an exciting role for a motivated and hands-on individual with a passion for cutting-edge technology and customer engagement. As a Field Application and Service Engineer, you will bridge the gap between technology and customers by providing world-class technical support and application expertise. Your role will encompass pre- and post-sales activities, combining the responsibilities of field application and service engineering to ensure an exceptional customer experience and seamless operation of Nanolive’s systems.
Key Responsibilities Europe
Pre-Sales Support:
- Organize and conduct product demonstrations, both remotely and on-site, for prospective customers
- Collaborate with sales colleagues to develop tailored strategies for key accounts, ensuring alignment with customer needs
- Represent Nanolive at trade shows, regional workshops, and conferences, preparing impactful presentations and posters
- Assist in training internal teams on new products and best practices for customer demonstrations
Post-Sales Support:
- Provide comprehensive training to customers on the proper use of Nanolive’s systems, ensuring they derive maximum value from our technology.
- Deliver high-quality technical support, troubleshooting issues remotely or on-site to ensure system reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain support documentation, including user guides and application notes, keeping them up to date.
Installation and Maintenance:
- Conduct installations and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites, ensuring seamless integration into workflows.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure long-term performance.
Reporting and Collaboration:
- Maintain accurate service and support records, generating detailed reports after customer visits.
- Provide feedback to internal teams about customer experiences, scientific trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry advancements and collaborate with global teams to enhance Nanolive’s service protocols.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum B.S. in cell biology, immunology, or a related life sciences field (MSc preferred).
- Experience in technical sales, field applications, or service engineering roles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willingness to travel within Europe up to 50% of the time.
- Fluency in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Valid Swiss work permit.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
