Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Inside Sales & Lead Generation Intern to support our commercial team in identifying and nurturing high-value leads across our core markets: biotech, pharma, and academia.
This internship is ideal for someone interested in sales, marketing, and CRM tools, with a strong sense of initiative and curiosity about the life sciences. You will gain hands-on experience managing lead generation campaigns, using digital prospecting tools, and working cross-functionally with marketing and sales.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation
- Research and identify qualified leads in biotech, pharma, and cosmetics using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesQL, and Scileads.
- Enrich and update our CRM (Salesforce) with accurate lead data.
- Assist with lead scoring and segmentation based on territory, application, and buyer persona.
- Campaign Execution
- Support the planning and execution of outbound lead generation campaigns (e.g., LinkedIn outreach).
- Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and targeting across channels.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance (open rates, reply rates, conversions), and suggest improvements.
- Sales Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Technical Sales Specialists (TSS) to pass on high-quality leads and support their outreach efforts.
- Participate in sales meetings and contribute to weekly lead reviews.
What We’re Looking For
- Background in life sciences, biotechnology, or related field is a strong plus.
- Interest in sales, marketing, and/or business development.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working with data and tracking performance metrics.
- A proactive and curious mindset with strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English; other languages (e.g., German, French) are a plus.
